Solar powered homes hit the National Mall

Twenty university teams descend on the National Mall for the fourth Solar Decathlon in Washington, D.C. Their challenge: Build the most attractive, energy-efficient solar-powered home.
The prize: The chance to play a major role in our the future.
With the environmental time bomb ticking and a dependence on foreign oil threatening the nation, it’s critical that we wean ourselves off a fossil fuel addiction.
In short, we need these houses now.
